We are proud to share that MEJOR Technologies has been featured in a recent article recognising our innovative efforts in preventing wildfires through AI and advanced algorithms. As a growing company dedicated to combating the increasing threat of wildfires worldwide, this recognition underscores our commitment to creating a safer and more sustainable future.

 

International Collaboration & Recognition

Recently, our CEO and co-founder, Melvin Sieben, was invited by the Minister of Climate Change in Pakistan to discuss the country’s unique wildfire challenges. This visit is part of our ongoing global outreach, as we are also in discussions with governments in Bulgaria, Argentina, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and Portugal to explore how our technology can make a meaningful impact.


Our Innovative Wildfire Management Solutions

MEJOR Technologies was founded in 2021 by Melvin Sieben and Joris Kohl van Wijngaarden with a shared vision to address the growing problem of wildfires. The few years of development have led to the creation of two software solutions:

  • LUCI: An AI-powered wildfire prevention tool that assesses and supports in defining where, when and why a wildfire might occur. This allows authorities to implement preventative measures, such as landscape adjustments, to reduce fire hazards.

  • CHRIS: A wildfire response support system that performs wildfire mapping by stitching drone images together in near real-time, automatically detecting hotspots, providing their GPS coordinates, and drawing firelines to generate a detailed wildfire map.


Driving Change Through Science & Wildfire Technology

With ongoing collaborations with leading Dutch universities and discussions with MIT, MEJOR Technologies continues to push the boundaries of wildfire prevention. Our mission is clear; to protect nature, people, and their properties from wildfires through innovative technologies.
